REGULARLY SCHEDULED FITNESS CLASSES

Winter 2012 Fitness Classes Begin Monday, January 9, and may be joined anytime during the winter session. 

Classes are designed for 50+ year old women and men; help develop muscle strength, balance and stamina along with increasing cardio-vascular strength; taught by experienced senior fitness instructors. 

FREE Try Me Class - Come to any fitness class and tell the instructor that it’s a “try out.” For those who want to begin a healthy habit but want assurance that the program meets their needs.

Chair Yoga - Mon. 10 - 11 a.m.

Focus is on breathing and building strength, flexibility and balance. Seated and standing positions, as your ability permits.

 Tai ChiWed. 8:45 – 9:45 a.m.

Balance, muscle strength, flexibility, and concentration.

Aerobics – Tues. 9 – 10 a.m. and/or Thurs. 9 – 10 a.m.

Full mind and body workout: aerobics, muscle strengthening, balance and stretching.

Stretch and Tone  – Wed. 10 – 11 a.m.

Gentle stretching, toning with bands or weights, balance exercises, chair aerobics, end with a sense of well-being and relaxation. Seated and standing activity.
